Twitter has confirmed that it has lifted limit of 140 characters. It is a good decision by twitter to grab more users. Twitter has 75% less users then its competitor Facebook. By lifting the limit, users will feel more comfortable in tweeting. Twitter is exploring opportunities to engage more users.

Twitter has already made good changes in recent past like tweaking of its chronological timeline, introduction of new feature ‘Moments’, It is expected that twitter will gain popularity with its new changes. Twitter reported revenue was $595m during first 3 months of 2016 and it is far less then the expected revenue.
